Hessle Foreshore and North Ferriby 12th August (26 images)

Due to my E8800 packing up after the last collection and me now on my 2 weeks holiday,drastic action had to be taken as I wasnt gonna be without as camera for my hols so I treat myself to my long awaited DSLR.
This collection is the start of images taken with it and I must apologise for the quality of the images until I get used to using the damn thing.I did what I normally did with the Coolpix and just had it on auto but in some shots in tended to over compensate in the colours and they came out raelly strong and made the images look false or doctored...but it dunt happen overnight so future updates should slowly get better...it was till a future update when I was at the Tees did I stumble upon a better setting for better images..no doubt you will probably notice in that collection.
Still..Ill have a play around with it and see how I go,I dont by any means regard myself as a photographer anyway,Im just ya run a the mill point n shoot kinda guy,lol!
Another thing I did notice too is when I resize them to go on the site,I resize them as normal to 1024x768 but they tend to come out as 1024x685...dunno why that is,unless the starting image is a different size to what the Coolpix was???
